Route: Start at 8th Ave & 1st St, over to 6th Ave, down to 11th St, over to 4th Ave, down to 51st St, over to 4th Ave, up to 12th St, across to 8th Ave, back up to 5th St.

Notes: A lot to see on this run, including the pink steeple of St. Michael's church at 5th and 42nd, Green-Wood Cemetery, the Jackie Gleason bus depot, and dozens of small businesses along 4th and 5th Avenues. I've really got to get a camera.

Good stuff and good luck. I did about half of Brooklyn in 2000-2001. 4th all the way out to the bridge is a good time, and seventh down from the sunset park is nice too. Coney Island Ave all the way out to the Ocean has to be my all time favorite though--go once you get your camera.
